Moneyball
So, I just finished watching the movie, Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill. Let me just start off by saying, I hate baseball. I’ve never watched a full game in my life. I’ve always been a football kinda guy. That being said I’d give this movie about a 7 1/2 out of 10. It doesn’t have hardly any funny lines even though Brad and Jonah are both very funny guys. It more or less shows the life of a General Manager (Brad Pitt) who gets thrown into a salary crisis for his team. The owner wont give him the money necessary to replace certain star players that are no longer on the team. He meets a seemingly smart kid who has just started his first job ever as a sports analyzer (Jonah Hill). This kid has a new tactic of recruiting and building a team which allows Brad Pitt to get players based off of their stats and not their fame, there for saving tons of money. The movie does have some emotional grip and if you’re a baseball fan, then you’ll probably love it.
